GPSS has a mandate to train all public service employees especially the civil service, to have the requisite knowledge and skills needed to deliver high quality services in an effective and efficient manner.

 This is accomplished through periodic review, redesign and delivery of both the Scheme of Service and Customised Management Training Programmes to the Public Sector and by extension to the Private Sector as well.
