 pported Project (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:The GIMPA Hub for Teaching and Learning\, under the leadership 
 of its Head\, Dr. Joseph Budu\, will host the first in a series of webinar
 s exploring the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in edu
 cation. The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday\, 2 September 2025.\n\nThe ev
 ent forms part of an international research initiative supported by the Ac
 ademy of Management (AoM)\, awarded to Dr. Budu and his collaborators: Mrs
 . Eleanor Akoto\, Lecturer at Central University\, and Dr. Emmanuel Antwi-
 Boasiako\, Senior Lecturer at GIMPA’s School of Technology and Social Sc
 iences.\n\nThe project\, titled “Measuring the Impact of AI Feedback on 
 Student Metacognition and Learning Approaches\,” examines how AI-driven 
 tools can support or challenge the way students reflect on their own learn
 ing and engage more deeply with academic material. By focusing on metacogn
 ition\, the study seeks to provide insights into how AI may be harnessed n
 ot simply as a technological aid\, but as a pedagogical partner.\n\nAccord
 ing to Dr. Budu\, “AI is already reshaping the way students learn and ho
 w educators teach. This project is about understanding those changes and g
 uiding institutions to make informed\, responsible choices that benefit bo
 th learners and teachers.”\n\nThe upcoming webinar will introduce the pr
 oject\, outline its objectives\, and open the floor to dialogue among educ
 ators\, researchers\, and policymakers who are navigating AI’s growing r
