Our Head of International Programmes (OIPD), Prof. Gifty Oforiwaa Gyamera, represented GIMPA at the prestigious 36th Annual European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference and Exhibition, held in Glasgow, Scotland, from 8–11 September 2026.
Recognized as Europe’s largest international higher education gathering, EAIE 2026 brought together over 7,300 professionals, researchers, policymakers, and university leaders from more than 100 countries. The conference served as a vital global platform for exchanging transformative knowledge, establishing strategic alliances, and shaping the future of global higher education.
Beyond strengthening GIMPA’s international network and forging new institutional partnerships across Europe, Africa, North America, Asia, and Australia, Prof. Gyamera had the distinct privilege of participating as an official conference speaker. Her contributions brought essential African perspectives into key global dialogues on equitable collaboration and internationalization.
