The Department of Global Health & Sustainability Studies is a leading centre of excellence in Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety, Global Health, and Sustainability Studies. The Department is committed to developing highly skilled professionals who are equipped to address contemporary health, environmental, workplace safety, and sustainable development challenges.
Our programmes are designed primarily as post-experience training and professional development programmes for individuals working in the public, private, and development sectors. It is my pleasure to welcome you to one of GIMPA’s newest and most dynamic academic departments. The Department of Global Health & Sustainability Studies was established to respond to the growing demand for highly skilled professionals capable of addressing complex health, environmental, occupational, and sustainability challenges in Ghana, Africa, and the global community.
Our department is founded on the belief that improving human health and well-being requires interdisciplinary thinking, innovation, evidence-based practice, and sustainable solutions. We therefore provide an intellectually stimulating environment where students, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry partners collaborate to generate knowledge and develop practical interventions that make a meaningful difference in society.

• Master of Philosophy in Public Health

• Master of Science in Health Management and Leadership

• Master of Science in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management
