The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) has hosted a delegation from the Kingdom of Lesotho as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation in public administration, leadership development, and public sector transformation.
The visit provided an opportunity for discussions on knowledge sharing, institutional collaboration and capacity development between the two countries.
Speaking during the engagement, Lesotho’s Minister responsible for Public Service expressed appreciation to GIMPA for its hospitality and reaffirmed Lesotho’s commitment to strengthening ties with Ghana. He highlighted the need for responsive, innovative and accountable public institutions capable of addressing emerging challenges, including technological change, youth unemployment and climate-related issues.
The Minister also commended GIMPA for its contributions to leadership development, executive education, research and public sector innovation, and called for deeper collaboration in areas such as public administration, digital government, human resource management and policy innovation.
GIMPA leadership welcomed the delegation and underscored the importance of partnerships among African institutions in promoting knowledge exchange, strengthening governance and building institutional capacity.
The engagement forms part of GIMPA’s commitment to advancing public sector transformation through executive education, research, professional training and international collaboration.
