Kenneth Ofori-Boateng holds a Ph.D. in Environmental and Development Economics from the Department of Economics, University of Ibadan-under the AERC’s collaborative Ph.D. program for Sub-Saharan Africa, Masters in Economics and a degree in Economics and Law (both from KNUST). He has been trained in special programs in several Universities such as the University of Pretoria-Johannesburg Campus (South Africa), University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), Joint Facility for Electives (Nairobi, Kenya), University of Ghana Business School etc. He is a researcher, currently an Associate Professor at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Among consultancy works undertaken by Kenneth includes but not limited to development of Funding Mechanism for agricultural Value Chain Actors, feasibility studies, project development proposals for development organizations, end of project evaluation as well as monitoring and evaluation of development projects. He has consulted extensively for various institutions including the MoFA (FSRP), Ministry of Railways, AFDB, GCAP, Hunger Project-Ghana, CODESRIA-Senegal, RTIMP/IFAD, ICOUR and ACET. His research output has appeared in leading international peer reviewed journals such as International Journal of Green Economics, Journal of Poverty, Poverty and Public Policy, springerplus, International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management, Journal of Financial Crime, international Social Science Journal (ISSJ), SN: Business Economics, Scientific African, etc.
