Prof Charles Amoatey has 15 years of experience as a Development Evaluation and Management professional. He is the Director of the GIMPA Training and Consulting. He is an Associate Professor at the Management Science Department of the Business GIMPA Business School. Prof. Amoatey has consulted for several local and international Development Agencies including World Bank, ECOWAS, IFAD, UNDP, DFID, GIZ, KfW, SECO, Danida, and IFAD in the fields of Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, and regional economic development.
Prof. Amoatey has consulted for several local and international Development Agencies including the OECD, World Bank, ACBF, ECOWAS Commission, AUC, IFAD, UNDP, DFID, GIZ, KfW and Danida in the fields of Project Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Regional Economic Development. He led the development of policies and leadership capacity building initiatives for governments, parliaments and regional bodies such as ECOWAS Commission, African Union Commission and the UN system.
Prof. Amoatey has facilitated the establishment of several international collaborative partnerships between GIMPA and other institutions including University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, African Union Leadership Academy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; and the University of California-Berkeley in the USA for the establishment of the Development Impact West Africa (DIWA) initiative at GIMPA.
