Dr Alphonse Aklamanu

Alphonse M.K. Aklamanu is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and International Business at the Business School, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He received his first master’s degree in international business at the University of Vaasa, and his second master’s degree in Accounting at the Hanken School of Economics, Finland.
He obtained his Ph.D. in marketing at the University of Vaasa, Finland. Dr Alphonse Aklamanu has research interest in institutions and internationalization of the firm, retail internationalisation strategies, foreign direct investment and multinational corporation (MNC) strategy, knowledge transfer/sharing in MNCs, and the role of human resource management in international mergers acquisitions. His research has appeared in the International Journal of Human Resource Management (ABS 3 star) and Thunderbird International Business Review (ABS 2 star). He is a reviewer for the Thunderbird International Business Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and the Journal of Management and Development.
