Dr Daniel Komla Gameti

Management Science

Daniel K. Gameti is a lecturer of Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, and Service Operations Management, at the Department of Management Science at the GIMPA Business School. He holds BSc and MPhil degrees in Business Administration from the University of Cape Coast and the University of Ghana respectively, and a PhD in Management from the University of Canterbury. He has over 20 years of teaching experience at secondary and tertiary institutions. He has also been involved in managing a number of SMEs and training SME owner-managers in Ghana. He was the faculty advisor for ENACTUS GIMPA, a global student entrepreneurship group from 2014 to 2019. As an innovation scholar, Daniel has supported students at the UC Centre for Entrepreneurship during their 2020 and 2022 Summer Start-up Programmes by coaching and providing resources to help them develop their innovative ideas into businesses. In 2022 and 2023, he also acted as the programme manager for ThincLab Canterbury, an innovation programme at the University of Canterbury that supports growth-oriented companies to scale up and grow. Daniel’s passion is to impact knowledge in and outside the classroom that can be applied in the world of work.
