Dr. Kofi Asare

Dr Kofi Asare holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the School of Divinity, University of Edinburgh-UK (2013). He studied for his Master’s Degree at the University of Edinburgh (2008). Dr. Asare attended the University of Cape Coast for undergraduate studies in Social Sciences and also has a Certificate in Pastoral Communications from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome-Italy (2005).

Prior to joining GIMPA in 2015, Dr. Asare was a Research Assistant at the Religious Studies Department, University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He also taught Economics and Social Studies at Apam Senior High School. Since the establishment of the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (SOLASS), Dr Asare has been a faculty in the Department of Liberal Arts and Communication Studies. He served as the Quality Assurance Officer for SOLASS in addition to his membership in other notable committees in the Institute.
