Mr Ferdinand Adadzi

Ferdinand D. Adadzi is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Ghana Institute of Management and Administration, where he lectures in Corporate Law, Law of Contract and Legal Writing & Research. He has previously lectured at Central University in Business Law and Company Law. Ferdinand is also a Partner at AB & David, a pan-African business law firm with offices in five African countries and affiliates and best friends in nineteen other countries. Ferdinand leads the firm’s Energy, Infrastructure and PPP practice group and co-heads the Corporate and Finance Group. Ferdinand was called to the Ghana Bar as solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court in 2003 and advises the firm’s numerous clients on broad-ranging issues relating to projects and businesses in Africa.

His research interest cut across wide areas, including corporate law and governance, finance, trade, construction law and regulatory and contractual framework for executing infrastructure projects in Africa and regulating the extractive industry. Ferdinand has numerous publications to his credit, including a recent seminal textbook on company law in Ghana titled “Modern Principles of Company Law in Ghana”.
