Joe Slovo N. Tia is a dual qualified lawyer in Ghana and New York State, United States of America. He has experience in advising on transactions in tax, corporate law, energy and banking & finance law. He is also experienced in commercial litigation and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK. Joe Slovo obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Qualifying Certificate in Law (QCL) from the Ghana School of Law. He also holds a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) in International Economic Law (with Merit) from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. Joe Slovo is a Partner at Arete Solicitors PRUC, a boutique law firm focusing on tax, finance, corporate & commercial law and dispute resolution. He has also lectured Tax and Revenue Law as well as Constitutional Law over the last 8 years at the Gimpa Law Faculty.
