Prof. Gamel Wiredu is Associate Professor of Information Systems and Head of Department of Information Systems & Innovation at GIMPA. He holds PhD and MSc degrees in Information Systems from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), United Kingdom. He also holds a BSc degree in Planning from KNUST. His research interests are in the relationship between information technology and organizations, specifically in virtual teams, digital platforms, digital service innovation, and ubiquitous computing. He is the author of Global Software Engineering: Virtualization and Coordination (Taylor & Francis: New York) and Mobile Computer Usability: An Organizational Personality Perspective (Springer: Berlin). He has published in international journals such as Information Systems Journal, European Journal of Information Systems, Information & Organization, Information Technology & People, African Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Global Information Management, Cognition Technology & Work, and Journal of Education & Work. He is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of African Journal of Information Systems and an Associate Editor of European Journal of Information Systems.
