Public administration is the cornerstone of societal functionality, responsible for overseeing
critical aspects such as economic management and socio-economic transformation. The
safety, welfare, and prosperity of citizens and private enterprises depend on agile, resilient,
responsive, effective, and efficient public administration. It is the key driver for national
prosperity. The role of public administration has become even more important in the context
of achieving the sustainable development goals. The mandates of the SDGs highlight the
need to revamp the capacity of the public service in scope, importance and urgency. Also, in
the face of transnational challenges, the role of public administration in ensuring national
resilience and sustained well-being becomes even more critical. These challenges necessitate
concerted efforts to foster dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among
stakeholders in public affairs
