Dr. Emmanuel Abokyi is (agricultural) economist and a certified monitoring evaluation (M&E) specialist. He is currently a senior consultant at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Ghana. Dr. Abokyi has being working in consultancy, teaching and research for over 20 years. Dr. Abokyi has hands on experience in consultancy and research in areas including but not limited to monitoring and evaluation (M&E), food security, impact evaluation, agricultural policy evaluation and analysis, project management and appraisal, rural development, strategic planning, among others.
The expertise of Dr. Abokyi also spans through economic research, capacity development, survey design and econometric modelling. He has led several evaluations, agricultural and other assignments implemented by GIMPA for its clients including the Government of Ghana, IFAD, CARE International, the Canadian Embassy, USAID, among others. Dr. Abokyi has been a lead facilitator on several monitoring and evaluation and other training programs. Dr. Abokyi is also a professional teacher who rose through to the rank of Assistant Director in the Ghana education Service.
