Samuel Agyei-Ampomah is a senior academic with over twenty-five years’ local and international experience in teaching, research and consultancy in the areas of finance, financial analysis and modelling, risk management and corporate governance. He is a Professor of Finance, at the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, GIMPA. Prior to joining GIMPA, he was a Reader in Finance at the Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University, UK and has also held full-time faculty positions at Surrey Business School, University of Surrey, Guildford, UK and Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham, UK. He has also taught finance and accounting related courses as a Visiting Academic at other institutions including ESC Toulouse Business School, France and the Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Dalian, China.
Professor Agyei-Ampomah is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK, and holds a Ph.D. in Finance and an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland, UK, and BA in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon.
