She had her secondary education at Archbishop Porter Girls Secondary School at Takoradi and attained her Ordinary and Advanced Levels of education in 1985 and 1987 respectively. Thereafter she pursued a course in Business Management at the Institute of Management Studies while pursuing the professional certification in Procurement and Supply. She attained this certification, (MCIPS), in 1995 with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (U.K). She is currently a Fellow of CIPS (UK).
She was employed at Ghana Supply Commission, now Ghana Supply Company Limited (GSCL), in 1991 as a Procurement Assistant and she rose through the ranks to the position of Procurement Manager whiles handling other portfolios as Training and Shipping Manager. Over the years she has received training both locally and internationally such as the African Entrepreneurs Programme AOTS, Malaysia, Study Tour in Framework Administration in Common Use Items in Tanzania. Training of Trainers for public sector Procurement and is a consultant for Public Procurement Authority (PPA).
In the year 2008, she attended a training programme in procurement at the Crown Agents training school in Worthing (U.K) and she additionally obtained a Crown Agents Certificate in Health Supply Chain Management from the Scottish Qualifications Authority. She pursued further education at the University of Leicester and obtained an MBA in 2010. She is a resource person /facilitator in procurement and stores management and currently an Adjunct Lecturer in procurement and supply chain management at GIMPA.
She has served as a procurement specialist on interview panels at VRA, COCOBOD, Regional Maritime Academy, Accra Polytechnic, and Ministry of Finance. She was also the Procurement Specialist on the MOH project in collaboration with Crown Agents when she was at GSCL. She is a motivational speaker for students in tertiary institutions.
She joined Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2013 as the Procurement Manager, a position she held for seven years. In 2018 she was reassigned to Student Affairs as a Senior Assistant Registrar. She is back at the Procurement Unit as a Deputy Registrar managing the Unit.
She was honoured with a certificate of recognition on international Women’s Day (2018) for Outstanding Performance and Adding Value to GIMPA. In 2018 again, she was awarded at the maiden Ghana Procurement and Supply Awards as one of Ghana’s Top 20 Procurement Leaders and Woman Professional of the year (Public Sector).
She has served as 2nd Vice President – Ghana Institute of Management (GIM), Chairperson for the Programmes Committee for (GIM), and her expertise is also recognized at her place of worship having served as Chairperson of the Procurement Committee at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Sakumono. She has also served as the Chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council for two terms 2017- 2020.
She has authored and published two motivational books.
She is married to Anthony with two teenage children, Anthony Jnr and Christabel.
